About This RoleThe Senior Strategic Inventory Analyst is responsible for developing and executing inventory strategies that optimize service levels, inventory investment, and supply chain performance across a distribution network.
Job Description- Monitor and balance inventory across all warehouse locations to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent overstock or shortages.
- Coordinate inter-warehouse transfers, ensuring timely movement of goods and accurate documentation.
- Execute the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategy across all warehouse locations.
- Review and maintain master data fields (item attributes, units of measure, locations, classifications, etc.) to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with warehouse teams.
- Perform inventory reconciliation activities to support accuracy targets and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with procurement, planning, and warehouse operations to ensure data alignment and smooth material flow.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support system updates and continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and master data governance.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in aftermarket material planning
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and master data concepts.
- Proficiency with ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation).
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in aftermarket fulfillment environments.
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
