Full Job Description
Job Summary: The Senior Store Inventory Planning Manager works closely with Business Unit Merchants, Store Operations, Demand Planners, Space Planning and Vendor Partners to enable effective product replenishment as well as other facets of inventory management. This position demonstrates the ability to manage inventory levels and optimize stock control processes within inventory management systems. The Senior Store Inventory Planning Manager should have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

Direct management of RELEX Super User staff. Set targets and achieve inventory productivity plans to support sales, gross margin, and in-stock objectives. Uses analytics to advise and influence internal teams on inventory decisions, clearly articulating the cause-effect of actions. Executes and measures inventory performance against business planning and product reset calendars for timely decision-making. Learn and leverage Power BI, RELEX and PDI Focal Point reporting to benchmark and improve KPI performance. Train Suggested Ordering Managers and Store Operations on how to utilize RELEX ordering system as well as supporting operating protocol. Investigate store ordering issues and make recommendations of system and procedural changes to better facilitate the goal of being in stock with the correct quantity of products at the correct time. Works with store ordering software provider (RELEX) to make enhancements to ordering system. Handling of RELEX replenishment and master data exceptions. Level 2 support of RELEX store ordering tickets. Management of data uploads into RELEX to strengthen forecasting and replenishment capabilities.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications, establishing personal networks; or participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing determined Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company Plan guidelines. Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred. Other combinations of job-related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted. Three to five years of experience in inventory planning is preferred. Must be able to travel locally as needed. Must possess a Driver's License and the ability to drive to multiple store locations. Proven track record in setting and achieving inventory productivity targets. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and tools (e.g., PDI, RELEX). Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools; experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Exceptional ability to communicate complex analytics in a clear, actionable manner to influence decision-making. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Skilled in monitoring and measuring inventory performance against goals, with the ability to provide insights and make timely adjustments. Results-driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning and tactical execution.
