Job Description
As the Senior Staff Project Manager on the Production Engineering team, you will oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) for the Production Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT), serving as a liaison between senior management, managers, and the project team for a new start restricted access effort. You will also ensure the development of mechanisms for monitoring earned value progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, execution teams, and internal/external stakeholders.
Additionally, this role will oversee risk and opportunity management for the Production Engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects, initiatives, and studies in support of Production Engineering earned value initiatives. These activities span technical, programmatic, and administrative content to include anomaly resolution, risk mitigation, opportunity exploitation, project leadership, program management support, engineering support, and process evaluation. In performing these activities, the successful candidate will regularly interface with executive management, program leaders, and other disciplines to develop comprehensive solutions. Interaction with senior members of the US DOD will also occur in certain circumstances.

Basic Qualifications
-Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Risk Management
- Experience in managing projects (cost, schedule, risk, etc.)
- Active clearance required to apply with an active investigation in the last 5 years AND the ability to obtain special program access
- Must have the ability to work on-site
Desired skills
-Ability to lead a team and oversee the activities of lower level Project Managers
- Strong communication skills, presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to successfully work with other team members
- Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative actions to limit future failures
- Experience interfacing with multiple levels of leadership
- Bachelor's Degree and an Aerospace Background
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
