Job SummaryThe Senior Specialist, Training-Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and executing training programs at the operational level. This role focuses on the delivery and support of training initiatives, mentoring others, and contributing to change management and compliance efforts.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning: Provides strategic leadership and executes training programs at the operational level, focusing on delivery and support
Content Development: Drive execution of training documentation, processes, and plans; provides feedback for improvement
Training Delivery: Customizes and localizes training materials for specific roles or departments; facilitates in-person & virtual training
Team Leadership: Delivers onboarding, safety, and job-specific training to hourly and salaried team members; mentors others may lead projects
Change Management: Drive change communication and training rollout during change initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement: Works closely with supervisors and frontline team members to identify training gaps
Compliance & Documentation: Deliver communication and training rollout during change initiatives
Evaluation & Metrics: Maintains training records and ensures documentation is up to date at the local level
Technology & Tools: Collects and analyze feedback and reports on training participation and comprehension
Professional Development: Demonstrates learning commitment; Encouraged to develop skills in facilitation, LMS use, and instructional design
Required Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree: Education, or business-related field
Years of Experience: 5-7
Training or operations in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Education & ExperienceMaster's Degree: Education, HR, Organizational Development or related field
Years of Experience: 8-11
Knowledge of adult learning principles, Training, Learning & Development, Continuous Improvement, or Organization Operations in a manufacturing environment
