Senior Specialist, Syndicated Loans / Agency Specialist

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
• Manages the day-to-day servicing needs for a portfolio of syndicated loans.
• Responsible for accurately reviewing, researching, and analyzing documentation and data to ensure timely completion of new lender onboarding, and to ensure accurate set-up in the system of record.
• Confirm pertinent information for lender validations to ensure timely processing of loan trades.
• Obtain formation, corporate documents and tax forms from lenders and review for accuracy.
• Research and resolve loan related issues, handles complex client inquiries and requests, identifies, investigates and resolves escalated and/or complex problem loans.
• Collaborate with corporate tax, closing, servicing, and trades teams, as necessary.
• Manage complex external client issues (on-going client servicing for various loan structures, resolving operational issues, and technology implementations)
• Assist in communicating needs and issues with internal and external clients.
• Use in-depth area knowledge to apply ingenuity and creativity to problems and determines more permanent resolutions.
• Act as a liaison between lenders and the corporate tax team.
• Facilitate tax withholdings/payments for funds owed to lenders as appropriate.
• May allocate/coordinate work within a team/project, and employ subject matter and industry expertise within defined area/s
• Solve complex problems based on an understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the loan system.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and operational support to junior level employees.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Typically, 5-7 years of total work experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tax withholdings and IRS refunds preferred.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
