Job Description:

L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
  • Collaborate with system engineers and software developers to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
  • Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development team.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance to start with ability obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient in Linux and/or Unix operating systems
  • Familiarity with Boundary Scan/LabVIEW/MATLAB/other tools for instrument control.
  • Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture
  • Experience with Radar systems
  • Test Automation

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $88,500 - $164,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
