Full Job Description
Supports data and reporting needs within the District related to student achievement outcomes. Optimizes data usability by developing Published Data databases to be used by Research, Analytics, Assessment & Data (RAAD) analysts to streamline analyses. Frequently write queries to pull data, maintains databases, documents logic for data extraction, and writes reports using a variety of tools. Performs regular data loads, provides technical support to the Assessment Team and develops and executes processes to load both vendor and state-supplied assessment data into department databases. $75,457 - $90,548. What You'll Do: • Develops Published Data databases to be used by department analysts to streamline analyses, including documentation of business rules for these databases • Develops streamlined processes for state submissions, including preparation for submissions and documentation of business rules for state submissions • Performs regular data loads to external assessment vendor systems • Provides technical support to the Assessment Team with rostering, loading data, and more • Develops and executes processes for loading of vendor and state supplied scores to department Score Repository • Works with department staff during vendor negotiations to inform contract from technical perspective and needs and works closely with the Database Administrator and Senior Data Specialist What You'll Need: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Social Sciences • Master's Degree preferred • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in performing similar tasks, including extensive experience working with relational databases and with query and data import/export functionality • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and C# • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
