Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program. LANDMARK AOS is a large SETA contract responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise. The position will be located in Chantilly, VA. All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

As the Senior Solution Engineer, you will provide analysis of alternatives, development of strategic options for architecture, alignment and prioritization of capability development, requirements management, readiness tracking, and validation and verification of delivered capabilities to support the customer's mission, vision, and technical initiatives. You will interact daily with senior government and program staff to support a variety of high-priority, high-visibility activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Plan, prepare and execute Solution Train events for the customer
  • Collaborate with System Architects/Engineering, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to ensure seamless integration of capabilities into the Solution
  • Lead technical and programmatic interchanges; identify, mitigate, and resolve dependencies during planning and execution
  • Ensure alignment of interfaces, milestones, and deliveries across teams and partners
  • Act as an impartial escalation point for solving systemic or cross-team challenges
  • Oversee and facilitate the continuous integration, testing, and deployment of the solution across all participating programs
  • Engage across offices and acquisition programs, to understand challenges impacting deliveries
  • Facilitate discussions on priorities, risks, and value delivery with various levels of stakeholders, from team members to executives

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering, science, or related discipline and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Knowledge of agile systems engineering as applied to Multi-INT ground architecture
  • Demonstrated knowledge and technical proficiency with ISR ground systems (data processing, mission management, data management, IA/Cyber hardening, etc.)
  • Strong engineering background with domain knowledge in Agile software development practices and Cloud computing architectures
  • Experience in applying strategic planning, systems thinking, and communication skills to drive program deliveries
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, Confluence and JIRA

Desired Education and Experience:
  • Certification in agile software development methods (Scrum, SAFe)
  • Expertise and experience with the IC acquisition cycle, requirements processes, budgetary practices, and acquisition documentation
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Certification in Program Management
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification
  • Experience transitioning legacy systems to AWS/C2S optimized applications
  • Experience in Dev/Ops delivery of software capabilities

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
