Ab Ovo, Inc., 2320-G Walsh Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95051, is hiring a Senior Software Quality Engineer, responsible for the following duties:
- Writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and JavaScript languages;
- Working on web and mobile application automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Appium frameworks;
- Performing testing on native mobile application for iOS and Android platforms;
- Performing Automation Scripting, End-To-End Testing, Regression Testing, and API Testing on highly scalable e-commerce applications;
- Communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders, collaborating with project team and cross functional teams, and ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs;
- Identifying issues during testing, troubleshooting and determining steps to reproduce them, and adding them into a defect-tracking database such as JIRA with detailed troubleshooting information;
- Building Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure the testing processing is automated and integrated with the development process using tools such as Jenkins Pipelines;
- Collaborating with colleagues to understand requirements and translate them into test cases;
- Working with development team using agile methodologies, participating in agile ceremonies, and ensuring the testing is integrated into the development process;
- Creating and executing database queries for testing purposes such as verifying data integrity, checking data flow, and testing data-related functionality using Oracle SQL and Cassandra Database;
- Collaborating with development, design, program, and product team members to design, develop, and deploy mobile and web applications and services; and
- Analyzing Splunk logs for issues, pipeline features, and troubleshooting them in the collaboration with the DevOps/Engineering team.
Require a MS degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related, plus two-year experience as Software Quality Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or related. Require skills of Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium frameworks, JIRA, Jenkins, and programming languages of Java, JavaScript. Salary: $141,107-$150,000/year. Send resume to [redacted].
