Role summary:As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will drive the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance, while integrating advanced AI/ML components to enhance platform capabilities. This role demands strong technical judgment, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving to meet business objectives. You will mentor peers, contribute to engineering excellence, and ensure high-quality outcomes aligned with Walmart's standards, supporting innovation and operational reliability across the technology ecosystem.
What you'll do: - Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve velocity.
- Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
- Engage stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
- Monitor application performance and ensure adherence to project milestones through proactive DevOps practices.
- Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
