Job DescriptionThe Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow Employee Experience solutions, including Employee Center, Service Catalog, Portal, Mobile, and Workplace Service Delivery applications.
Build and enhance catalog items, record producers, workflows, Flow Designer automations, and approval processes to streamline employee support experiences.
Develop scalable and reusable applications using ServiceNow App Engine, Studio, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and APIs.
Partner with Product Owners, HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support and optimize employee self-service experiences, ensuring seamless navigation, accessibility, and user adoption across channels.
Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, web services, and third-party integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions for production environments.
Follow Agile delivery practices while contributing to platform governance, security, performance optimization, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification.
Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) certification.
Strong experience developing and supporting Employee Experience products, including Employee Center, Service Catalog, Portal, Mobile, Knowledge Management, and Workplace Service Delivery (WSD).
Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Service Portal development.
Experience building and managing Flow Designer, Integration Hub, workflows, automation solutions, and custom ServiceNow applications.
Knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model design, security controls, ACLs, update sets, and scoped applications.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST APIs, web services, authentication frameworks, and middleware technologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with experience delivering solutions in an Agile environment.
Location expectations:
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
