Overview

MicroTech seeks a Senior Software Developer to develop and maintain systems supporting DoD waiver workflows within the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission. This position translates operational requirements into maintainable software and workflow capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain software supporting DoD waiver submission, review, routing, and disposition.
  • Translate user and mission requirements into software designs and implementation tasks.
  • Implement workflow logic, validation rules, interfaces, and data handling.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, defect resolution, and release documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineers, database personnel, administrators, and Government stakeholders on integration and deployment.
  • Experience developing systems that manage DoD waiver workflows.
  • Ability to translate business rules and approval processes into reliable software behavior.
  • Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility.
