Primary Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems.
- Drive design of responsive, high0performance user interfaces and web interactions.
- Build and optimize server-side logic, APIs, and data layers.
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful API services and integrations.
- Develop secure, reliable servers and databases to support application functionality.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and mobile optimization.
- Lead collaboration with UX/UI and design teams to deliver polished interfaces.
- Apply advanced programming best practices, patterns, and code quality standards.
- Translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered solutions.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and guide adoption of modern tools.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to overall system architecture and technical strategy.
Qualification You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices
- Expertise in one or more server-side languages: Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .NET
- Experience building multi-threaded and asynchronous applications
- Experience with socket programming and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MonetDB)
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and XSD structures and schemas
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience designing microservices and distributed systems with RESTful APIs
- Agile/Scrum development experience
- Knowledge of WMI and WCF frameworks
- Familiarity with SOA and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience developing in both Linux and Windows environments
- Understanding of MVC patterns and modern application architectures
- Experience refactoring or modernizing legacy applications for cloud platforms
- Proficiency with IDEs such as Eclipse, WebStorm, and Visual Studio
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and real0time diagnostics in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with IaaS/PaaS platforms (VMware, OpenShift, OpenStack)
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks and related technologies: ES6+, ReactJS, NodeJS, C#, HTML5
- Experience integrating with AWS and VMware REST APIs for resource automation, monitoring, or management

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate0s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
