State Fund's Special Investigation Unit (SIU) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of Supervising Special Investigator II. In this position, you will lead a team of investigators and front-line leaders responsible for conducting complex and sensitive workers' compensation insurance investigations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in investigative work, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor front-line leaders who oversee teams of special investigators, providing guidance, oversight.
- Oversee the coordination and management investigative assignments, ensuring timely and thorough completion.
- Develop and refine processes within the Special Investigation Unit.
- Monitor metrics and prepare detailed reports of findings to senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners as well as the law enforcement community.
- Leading and overseeing multiple strategic projects.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulations governing SIUs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards throughout all investigative processes.

Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, or related area
- Minimum of five years of investigative experience
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Workers' Compensation insurance experience in Claims, Underwriting and/or Premium Audit
