Full Job Description
We are seeking a senior Engineer to develop a strategy and drive material and inventory control execution across our services supply chain. This role will partner with planning, repair operations, finance, contract manufacturers, 3PLs, IT, and other teams to improve controls and reduce financial adjustments.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop and improve processes and systems to meet or exceed inventory accuracy targets while minimizing financial adjustments across the service and repair supply chain.
  • Create and implement control standards, policies, processes, governance, and execution across Service Supply Chain manufacturing sites and outsourced partners.
  • Establish strong cycle count, physical inventory and scrap policies, including execution standards, compliance, reconciliation, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and implement operating rhythms with outsourced partners to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce shortages, excess exposure, aging inventory, and execution risks.
  • Analyze inventory trends and improve performance for physical inventory adjustments by identifying underlying issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Improve inventory controls, segregation of duties, partner reporting, reconciliation, ERP/WMS processes, master data quality, automation, and standardization.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for resolving critical inventory discrepancies involving partner-held inventory.
  • Develop dashboards, benchmarks, reports, playbooks, SOPs, and training materials to improve consistency and decision-making across internal and external teams.
  • Drive performance improvement with data-backed recommendations, executive-ready communication, and implementation plans that optimize inventory levels.


What We Need to See:
  • 12+ years of inventory management, inventory control, supply chain operations, material execution, manufacturing operations, logistics, and/or finance operations as well as Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience running cycle count programs, physical inventory policy, inventory governance, and reconciliation processes.
  • History of working optimally with outsourced supply chain partners.
  • Deep expertise in warehouse controls to ensure inventory accuracy limiting reconciliation and adjustments.
  • Adept working in ERP and WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets to drive efficient business decisions.
  • Knowledge in crafting operational and financial inventory metrics and reporting tools.
  • Proven track record to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, influencing operations, supply chain, finance, procurement, planning, warehousing, IT, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting, controls, audit requirements, working capital impact, and executive-level communication.
  • Ability to deliver results independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with excellent judgment, ownership, and follow-through.


Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Background in finance, accounting, FP&A, cost accounting, or inventory accounting.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or similar analytics tools.
  • APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-site inventory operations.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 276,000 USD.
