Schneider Electric is looking for a Senior Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving new business growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans with targeted customers.
This role manages the full sales cycle, from prospect identification and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing. The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality, excels at building relationships, and understands how technical solutions solve complex customer challenges within the construction, facilities, and building technologies market.
Key Responsibilities- Generate sales orders that meet or exceed established branch revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through networking, social media engagement, strategic outreach, and professional organizations.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales activity metrics, including calls, appointments, and opportunity generation.
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly account plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Research target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and create customized value propositions and sales strategies.
- Lead engagement with internal operations, pre-construction and estimating teams to develop solutions, cost estimates, and customer proposals.
- Partner with Marketing to follow up on campaigns, nurture leads, and convert prospects into qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within Salesforce CRM and dashboard tools
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth and retention.

- Experience in construction, facilities, building automation, or HVAC-related sales environments.
- Comfortable engaging executives, facility managers, property managers, developers, contractors, and other key decision-makers.

Qualifications:- 2+ years of business development, outside sales, lead generation, or consultative sales experience.
- Proven ability to generate new business and develop opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
- Experience selling within one or more of the following industries:
- Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- HVAC Equipment or Mechanical Systems
- New Construction Management
- Commercial Property Management
- Industril-commercial Facilities Services
- Strong new business development skills with the ability to identify, qualify, and close opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience selling technical solutions, building technologies, automation systems, mechanical systems or related.
- Understanding of facility construction, asset lifecycle management, facilities operations, or commercial building systems.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and performance targets.
- Experience managing both new business development and strategic account growth.
For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 115,200 - USD 172,800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
