Job DescriptionDescription SAIC in support of the Ground Based Radar (GBR) Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) contract seeks an enthusiastic and outgoing Senior Scrum Master to join our team. This individual should have a desire to facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events, processes, and assist teams in delivering mission and customer value. Scrum Masters communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement on our program located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Major duties of the position include:
- Serve as a facilitator of Agile events and processes including Value Stream Mapping, Roadmap creation, Backlog management, Program Increment (PI) Planning, Product Owner Sync, Scrum of Scrums, PI Review, Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt Workshops
- Serve as a Scrum Master working with mission owners, stakeholders (including customers), Product Owners, Kanban leads, and Team members to ensure the processes and practices of the program align with the purposes and desired business and mission outcomes of Agile/DevSecOps principles
- Improve the flow of value through Value Streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevSecOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
- Facilitate Regular System Demos that show Acceptance Criteria has been met and are a vehicle for selling off Features to Stakeholders
- Foster Communities of Practice (CoP) and the use of Engineering and Built-In Quality practices
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience
- Secret Clearance
- Industry recognized Agile certification (Scaled Agile, Scrum.org, Scrum, Inc., Scrum Alliance, or PMI)
- Experience coaching multi-functional teams to achieve common goals
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience guiding Agile teams on common scaling principles, frameworks and patterns through coaching and education
- Experience driving continuous improvement and common processes across diverse stakeholder groups
- Prior experience with the DoD, SSC, or US Space Force
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
