Senior Scheduler 6 Utility Distribution & Substation

Location: Denver, CO (QISG Office 6 1050 17th St, Denver, CO 80265)Travel: Up to 40% domestic travel

QISG is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support utility Distribution and Substation construction projects. Candidates should have 5+ years of utility construction scheduling experience, with direct experience supporting electric distribution, substation, or related utility infrastructure projects.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining resource- and cost-loaded P6 schedules, performing critical path analysis, forecasting schedule impacts, and partnering closely with project teams to drive successful project execution from planning through completion.

What You9ll Do

• Develop and manage CPM Primavera P6 schedules for utility distribution, substation, and related infrastructure projects
• Build and maintain resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with project baselines and execution strategies
• Integrate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, field operations, and commissioning teams
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule updates, what-if scenarios, and productivity tracking
• Identify schedule risks, sequencing issues, and potential delays, and support mitigation planning
• Develop and maintain baseline schedules, progress updates, forecasts, and schedule narratives
• Produce earned value metrics, KPIs, cash flow reports, and other project controls reporting
• Support look-ahead planning, short-interval schedules, and field coordination
• Monitor actual progress against planned performance and identify schedule variances
• Maintain accurate and compliant schedule documentation in accordance with contract and company standards

What You9ll Bring

• 5+ years of scheduling experience supporting electric distribution, substation, or utility construction projects 6 required
• Strong Primavera P6 expertise, including schedule development, updates, logic, baselines, critical path analysis, and cost/resource loading
• Experience scheduling utility construction activities, including crews, materials, equipment, civil work, electrical installation, and commissioning
• Understanding of construction sequencing, productivity, resource constraints, and field execution
• Experience with schedule forecasting, earned value, KPIs, and schedule variance analysis
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, procurement, construction, field operations, and project management teams
• Experience with large-scale utility or EPC projects preferred
• Familiarity with Deltek Acumen Fuse/Risk or similar schedule analysis tools preferred
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor9s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred

Compensation RangeThe anticipated compensation for this position is USD $130,000.00/Yr. - USD $160,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
