ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

At Okland, we believe great projects start with great planning. We're looking for a Senior Construction Scheduler to support our growing portfolio of mission critical projects across Texas, helping teams turn complex construction plans into clear, actionable schedules. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Schedule Development & Planning

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools to support successful project delivery.
  • Partner with project teams and trade partners to build integrated schedules that align key milestones, sequencing, and project objectives.
  • Support project phasing strategies, construction sequencing, and schedule-based decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Controls & Performance Analysis

  • Monitor project progress, analyze schedule performance, and provide regular forecasts, updates, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
  • Evaluate schedule impacts related to changes, delays, and other project events, helping teams identify solutions and maintain project goals.
  • Assist with forensic schedule analysis and reporting to support projectdocumentation and issue resolution.

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Facilitate pull planning sessions and collaborative scheduling workshops that drive alignment across project teams and trade partners.
  • Provide guidance and training on scheduling best practices, helping teams strengthen planning processes and schedule management capabilities.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to validate progress, support field coordination, and ensure schedules accurately reflect project conditions.

YOU'RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project management.
  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling theory and tools like Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logic, and production rates.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and engineering documents.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams.
