Key Responsibilities:- Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable technical designs, documenting data model changes, integration contracts, and security implications before build begins.
- Develop custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Flow, and platform automation, choosing declarative solutions when they are the right answer and code when they are not.
- Build and support integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, MuleSoft or comparable middleware, and batch or event driven patterns that fit the volume and latency the business actually needs.
- Write and maintain unit tests, target meaningful code coverage rather than coverage for its own sake, and participate in code review as both author and reviewer.
- Manage deployments through a source driven release process using Salesforce DX, Git, and an automated pipeline such as Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Design and enforce data security in line with HIP nd client policy, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field level security, Shield Platform Encryption where in scope, and appropriate handling of PHI and PII.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes rather than recurring workarounds.
- Mentor mid level and offshore developers, contribute to coding standards, and raise design concerns early when a requested approach will create downstream cost.
- Partner with architects, business analysts, QA, and product owners in an Agile delivery cadence, including sprint planning, estimation, demos, and retrospectives.
Certifications:Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I.
Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, Health Cloud Accredited Professional, or OmniStudio Developer.
