What We're Looking ForThe Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the strategic administration, governance, and optimization of multiple Salesforce environments across the organization. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and program management capabilities. In addition to hands-on configuration, this individual will drive environment strategy, oversee integrations, and lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure Salesforce supports scalable, compliant, and high-performing business operations. The role also includes ownership of release management, system governance, and acting as a key partner to leadership on platform strategy.
What You Will Do- Own administration and governance of multiple Salesforce instances, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Establish and enforce best practices for configuration, security, and data management across environments.
- Manage user and license provisioning at scale, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and access models.
- Lead advanced configuration of Salesforce, including custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and page layouts.
- Design scalable solutions using declarative tools, and partner with developers on complex enhancements requiring Apex, integrations, or custom UI.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance, usability, and automation.
- Own and manage integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems across multiple environments.
- Ensure seamless data flow, system reliability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Partner with engineering and third-party vendors on integration design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee enterprise data governance, including data quality, deduplication, cleansing, and migration strategies.
- Implement and monitor data standards across multiple instances to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain complex reports and executive dashboards across business units.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business metrics into actionable Salesforce reporting and analytics.
- Own change management processes, including deployment strategies (change sets, DevOps tools), release cycles, and environment coordination.
- Ensure proper testing, documentation, and communication for all system changes.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align Salesforce capabilities with business goals.
- Lead or support cross-functional initiatives, including integrations and system enhancements, functioning as a project manager when needed.
- Oversee tiered support processes, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and escalations.
- Drive user adoption through training programs, documentation, and enablement strategies.
- Monitor usage trends and proactively identify opportunities to improve adoption and productivity.
- Ensure Salesforce environments meet compliance, security, and audit requirements.
- Track and manage compliance-related tasks, including access reviews and data handling practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of organizational priorities.
What You Need to Succeed- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience, with demonstrated ownership of multiple Salesforce instances or complex environments.
- Experience supporting or deploying Salesforce Chatbot solutions and leveraging Einstein AI capabilities preferred.
- Proven experience leading Salesforce optimization initiatives and large-scale system improvements.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
- Advanced certifications preferred (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other relevant certifications).
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and best practices.
- Extensive experience with declarative automation tools (Flows, validation rules, etc.).
- Strong experience with integrations using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Zapier, etc.).
- Experience with release management and DevOps tools is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, systems, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and execution.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:
$123,000-$152,000 USD
