The Senior Retrieval Operations Analyst at Datavant will play a vital role in optimizing operational performance and supporting strategic initiatives within the organization. This position involves advanced data analysis, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and support our mission of improving healthcare through data connectivity.
You will:- Serve as the Inventory Management lead for assigned Retrieval Groups, partnering with Operations, Client Success, Provider, Product, and Technology to proactively manage inventory health, project pacing, retrieval yield, and Business Control Metrics.
- Lead operational performance reviews by identifying inventory risks, conducting root cause analysis, developing recovery plans, and driving corrective actions through resolution.
- Provide operational guidance to Regional Operations Analysts, coordinating daily priorities, delegating work, supporting ticket management, and ensuring consistent execution across assigned Retrieval Groups.
- Develop and communicate operational insights through reporting, dashboards, and trend analysis that support leadership decision-making, inventory prioritization, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate cross-functional governance, including inventory reviews, escalation management, action item tracking, and collaboration with Client Success to align operational priorities and client needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by supporting the development of playbooks, Business Control Metrics, operational triggers, reporting enhancements, and the Inventory Management Framework.
- Lead or support strategic projects and organizational initiatives
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related
- field.
- 2-4 years of experience in operations analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of operational metrics and performance measurement.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate and present to all levels of employees
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and
- develop actionable insights.
- Be comfortable leading cross-functional discussions and influencing without direct authority.
- Effectively prioritize competing operational needs while maintaining a proactive approach to inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and present information clearly and
- persuasively.
- Drive accountability by following issues through resolution and driving change within the organization.
- Work collaboratively and coach/mentor team members while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:
$79,000-$92,000 USD
