DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Requirements Analyst will provide Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) expertise and requirements generation support to a customer. Providing requirements analysis and assessment support, the incumbent will enable the coordination, integration, and prioritization of capability development efforts to rapidly deliver joint operational projects through integrated project delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Requirements Analyst, Senior will be responsible for:
- Work directly with the government lead to ensure all deliverables are identified, developed and delivered on schedule
- Proactively engaging with customers and stakeholders to analyze and refine information needed to develop program and system requirements
- Collecting and analyzing requirements data to synthesize and recommend solutions
- Leading, directing and co-authoring reports and recommendations
- Delivering artifacts that support establishment and execution of formal programs of record subject to the DoD 5000 series acquisition policies.
- Acting as the project expert regarding requirements elicitation, requirements analysis and management, documenting requirements for iterative development, and the communication of business needs
- Understanding the current state of the client organization while at the same time, tracking to the vision of where the customer wants to be (as is/to be)
- Identifying business needs and/or inefficiencies and defining solutions that meet needs, goals, or objectives
- Continual assessment of industry capabilities and best practices/solutions to ensure currency/relevancy of requirements generation support
- Performing other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience in requirements generation and administration
- Expert knowledge of DOD 5000 Series Defense Acquisition System Documentation for Naval Programs
- Demonstrated experience with Dynamic Object- Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
- Expert knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes
- Experience in supporting enterprise-level coordination and integration efforts across high-interest programs of record
- Experience in working with analysis and assessment of emergent and future capabilities
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- DAWIA certification (or equivalent) in Program Management, Engineering and Technical Management, Test and Evaluation or Lifecycle Logistics
- Experience in expeditionary operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based collaborative resources such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
