- Oversees and coordinates nursing staff schedules and daily duties
- Provides advanced patient care including medication administration, physical therapy support, and vital sign monitoring

The ADC is a well-established agency in Prince William County, VA. We provide safety and security for our staff and the individuals in our care while protecting the residents of Prince William County. This position will involve direct contact with inmates housed at the facility.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or G.E.D. plus a degree or diploma from a state approved professional nursing program and 2 years of related experience.
SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS: Registered Nurse License, CPR/First Aid Certification. Must pass local, state and federal background checks and have a valid driver's license.

SALARY RANGE: $81,140.80 - $133,282.50

***Hiring incentives will be paid out in two (2) equal installments. Fifty percent (50%) of the incentive will be paid after ninety (90) days of employment and fifty percent (50%) will be paid following the completion of the probationary period. Probationary employees that voluntarily terminate employment with the County, shall repay the net amount (minus state and federal taxes) of the first bonus installment via a deduction from their annual leave payout and/or remit payment of any remaining balance within thirty (30) days following separation of employment from the County*** ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an inherently stressful environment and involves risk to personal safety with the possible exposure to blood borne and airborne pathogens.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Very Heavy Work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, intense noises and travel.
Must pass a pre-employment physical.
