Job Title: Senior Regional Director - Fitness

Department: Fitness/Operations

Job Summary:

The Senior Regional Director -- Fitness is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of regional fitness sites, ranging from high-traffic corporate wellness centers and multi-tenant amenity spaces to exclusive, member-only fitness facilities. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across a diverse range of client accounts, ensuring consistent service excellence, financial performance, team development, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Oversight & Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership to Fitness Directors, Managers, and onsite teams across multiple fitness centers.
  • Ensure high performance and operational consistency across all locations in the region.
  • Translate organizational goals into regional execution plans that drive key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster a high-performing, engaged regional team culture aligned with Arch Amenities Group's service standards.


Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients at each location, ensuring strong relationships and satisfaction.
  • Proactively address client concerns, provide operational recommendations, and drive client retention.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with key clients to review performance, utilization, and service metrics.


Financial & Operational Management

  • Oversee regional budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and expense control to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Monitor performance against goals and KPIs; take corrective actions to achieve results when necessary.
  • Support teams in managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, payroll, inventory, and compliance.
  • Review and approve capital improvement plans and equipment investments.


Talent Development & Team Management

  • Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and onboarding of Fitness Directors and key team members.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to site leaders.
  • Create succession planning strategies and support internal career development.
  • Ensure team compliance with safety standards, certifications, and industry regulations.


Sales, Marketing & Program Development

  • Support site-level and regional marketing and sales efforts to increase membership and participation.
  • Oversee fitness programming strategy to ensure relevance, innovation, and revenue generation.
  • Implement and track promotional initiatives that increase visibility and drive engagement across all centers.


New Site Implementation & Growth

  • Lead or support pre-opening planning, staffing, and operational setup for new fitness sites within the region.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including site visits, proposals, pro formas, and presentations.


Qualifications:

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • National fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, AFAA) strongly preferred.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5--7 years of multi-site leadership experience in the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships, team leadership, and operational execution.
  • Strong background in budgeting, revenue management, and driving performance in complex operations.
  • Experience in corporate fitness, tenant amenities, or luxury wellness environments is highly desirable.

Work Environment & Travel

  • Requires up to 50% travel to client sites within the assigned region.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements

  • Light physical work, including lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
  • Regular physical activities such as standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and using fitness equipment.
  • Must be able to operate computers, office tools, and fitness machines.
