Job Description

Senior Radiology Technologist in Radiology Unit at Petaluma Valley Hospital. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour Variable Shifts.

A certified professional who performs computerized axial tomography, as well as routine diagnostic and special radiologic procedures on patients of all age groups. Other duties may include multi-disciplinary committee/team participation, quality improvement activities, and collaboration with the medical staff. Works under minimal supervision and acts as a resource to others in the department.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of Accredited school of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Coursework/Training: Training in C.T. in addition to Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
  • 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
  • 1 year of experience in Computerized Tomography in the Imaging Department.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
