An EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) QE (Quality Engineer) professional is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data within the data warehouse environment. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered.

Primary Responsibilities:- Validating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
- Processes using AI tools
- Verifying source-to-target data mappings
- Testing data transformations
- Leveraging AI CoPilot, Python ensuring that reports and dashboards reflect accurate business information
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and developers to identify data issues, create comprehensive test plans and test cases, and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle
- Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technological functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services
- Strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery

- AI Builder Persona: Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation and who designs, delivers AI solutions, platforms and automations at scale in their daily work
- Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance
- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities, validate ETL process
- Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
- Carry out regression testing every time changes are made to the code to fix defects
- Prepare the status report for testing activities
- Mentor and direct other testers in automation and software engineering principles
- Develop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverage
- Constantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approach
- Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories
- Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
- Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate
- Research and implement tools that support faster delivery with high quality
- Reviews the work of other testers, and work as mentor per need and develop innovative approaches
- Test Manager in past has led the adoption of LLM-powered AI agents to automate EDW testing, generating test cases, validating pipelines, and detecting anomalies. This has cut manual effort, boosted coverage, and speed up releases
- Strong Understanding of Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture in modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse)
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI

Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of accomplished experience in software testing
- 5+ years of experience working as Backend, Database, Datawarehouse migration, ETL tester
- 5+ years of excellent SQL skills and experience working with any one RDBMS
- 5+ years of experience in UI, smoke, E2E and integration testing
- 5+ years of excellent Test Design skills and experience working with any one Test Management tool
- 5+ years of experience with preparation of test plan and strategy
- 5+ years of experience with estimation of testing efforts and working with project managers to prepare project schedule
- 5+ years of experience working in Automation testing for database, PowerBI, Reports & Dashboards
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of MMIS data warehouse migration and data mart validation
- Familiarity with CT METS or other state Medicaid agencies
- Python Test Automation and GitHub Code Management tool
- Snowflake Tool Knowledge

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
