Job DescriptionMonday - Friday - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Annual Salary: $100,000Position OverviewThe Senior Quality Engineering Technician will help Quality Department with day-to-day activities, lead improvement projects and drive customer satisfaction. Senior Quality Engineering Technician will work very closely with Quality Inspectors and Technicians as well as cross functional team members like operators, Mold Technicians, Process Technicians and Engineers. The position will report directly to Plant Quality Manager.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities• Attend daily production meeting and resolve quality issues to reduce nonconforming product.
• Review inspection data and implement improvements as needed.
• Lead cross functional Team to investigate root cause for Quality Issues and create CAPA.
• Read customer prints and understand design tolerances, GD&T.
• Create and update inspection documents, ECR/ECO, PQCT, PFMEA.
• Participate in product development teams.
• Perform Gage R&R studies.
• Follow up with Supplier on Quality issues with incoming products.
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned including resolving quality issues for products that are produced at other SEE facilities.
• Travel to customer, supplier and other SEE facilities to resolve Quality issues.
• Senior Quality Engineering Technician will be assigned other responsibilities and tasks as deemed appropriate by Quality Manager to facilitate incumbent professional development and growth..

Qualifications- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree. Prefer some additional courses in Mechanical, Industrial or Plastics.
- Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in Industrial, quality or manufacturing setting
- Molding experience required
- Injection Molding experience preferred
- Specific Skills:
- Good hands-on skill and ability to work on the shop floor with Engineers and Technicians. Ability to analyze data, identify root cause and corrective actions with competence to follow through. Ability to lead Quality improvement projects.
- Equipment & Machinery:
- Basic handheld measuring equipment's like CMM, caliper, pin gauges, micro-meter, optical comparator, etc
- Computer Experience & Software:
- Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Basic, statistical software preferably Minitab.
