Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist for a full-time, remote, 1.5-year contract with a possible 6-month extension, starting September 1, 2026. Candidates must possess a Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance or have resided in Canada for a minimum of five (5) years to be eligible to obtain one. In this role, you will help modernize and enhance enterprise quality assurance practices by developing automated testing solutions, improving testing frameworks, and supporting the delivery of reliable, high-quality business applications.
The successful candidate will have at least eight (8) years of experience testing web applications, third-party applications, and system integrations, including five (5) years of hands-on test automation experience. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, contribute to manual, integration, and performance testing, and help integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve software quality and delivery. Strong experience with Cypress, Jenkins, Postman, and test management tools such as Allure TestOps is highly desirable, along with the ability to troubleshoot automation issues and improve test stability. Experience with AI-enabled development or testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, and working in financial services, regulated, or mission-critical environments, will be considered strong assets.
