Senior Community Manager (Property Manager) assumes full responsibility for the overall operations of the community, including team leadership, resident satisfaction, financial performance, and maintaining high operational standards. This role requires an experienced property management professional with strong leadership skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to successfully manage a large, high-volume apartment community.
Responsibilities:- Lead your team of leasing and service associates
- Drive financial results to meet IMT's income and expense goals
- Lead sales with continuous involvement in the leasing process including leasing apartment homes yourself, renewing leases, developing your team's skills, marketing your community, and monitoring market conditions
- Partner with your Service Manager to ensure property site conditions are in good working order with excellent curb appeal
- Maintain an open door policy with residents to provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships
- Adhere to Fair Housing laws, regulations, and IMT's policies and procedures
- Perform bookkeeping and financial tasks including rent collection, delinquency, move-out statements, and financial and variance reports
- Additional projects and/or duties as assigned by Regional Manager

- 5+ years of multi-family housing management experience
- Experience managing apartment communities with 500+ units is strongly preferred, experience managing communities with 750+ units is a plus
- Strong knowledge of property bookkeeping, budgets, and financial reporting
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing leasing and service teams
- Exceptional customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work well in a high-volume and sometimes stressful environment
- The ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
- A positive attitude and the desire to learn and develop your skills
- Computer skills, including experience with property management software and the ability to open and close service tickets
- College education preferred
- ARM or CAM designation preferred
- Active and valid driver's license required
