Senior Project Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Superintendent to lead field operations for complex commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for jobsite safety, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and workforce management while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications.

The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who takes ownership of project execution, proactively resolves challenges, and effectively coordinates project teams from mobilization through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily field operations, subcontractors, and onsite personnel
  • Develop and manage project schedules and four-week look-ahead schedules
  • Coordinate construction sequencing, site logistics, and subcontractor activities to maintain project milestones
  • Enforce company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements
  • Monitor field productivity, labor, project progress, and overall schedule performance
  • Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and design documents for constructability and coordination
  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with applicable plans, specifications, and codes
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate project expectations
  • Identify and resolve field conflicts, design issues, and construction challenges
