About this Role COMPANY: Quanta Government Solutions JOB TITLE: Senior Project Superintendent DEPARTMENT: Construction Operations (Con Ops) LOCATION: Amarillo TX (On-Site Pantex Weapons Facility) REPORTS TO: Executive Project Manager CLASSIFICATION: Exempt / Full-Time POSITION OVERVIEW: The EPCM Senior Project Superintendent provides senior-level leadership for complex Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) projects supporting advanced manufacturing, energy infrastructure, and NNSA nuclear-related facilities. This role is responsible for the overall delivery of large-scale capital projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, schedule commitments, and financial performance targets. The EPCM Senior Project Superintendent leads multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning while serving as the primary interface between NNSA project teams, executive leadership, and client stakeholders. This position requires a proven leader capable of managing large, technically complex DOE 413.B programs while maintaining a strong safety culture, operational discipline, and collaborative project environment. The role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of NNSA advanced facilities and infrastructure projects, particularly those operating within highly regulated federal and nuclear environments. What You'll Do - Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities, of subcontractor operations to ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements - Develop and manage short-interval construction schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and Project Scheduler to optimize workflow and resource utilization - Enforce compliance with all site safety requirements including 10 CFR 851, OSHA standards, EM 385-1-1, and QGS safety programs; conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks - Coordinate inspections and quality control activities with the CQC System Manager to ensure work meets specifications and regulatory requirements; manage punch list completion and closeout activities - Review subcontractor field resources including labor, equipment, and materials; resolve constructability issues, field conflicts, and design clarifications in real time - Maintain daily construction logs, progress reports, and documentation of field conditions; communicate project status to the Project Manager and stakeholders - Work a minimum of 50 hours per week on a regular basis; be available for extended hours, weekends, and emergency response as project conditions require - Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager What You'll Bring Required Education and Experience - Twenty plus years as a senior project superintendent or construction manager.
