Candidates should be comfortable working primarily within these time zones to support collaboration with team members and clients. Occasional travel is required (approximately 15%), primarily within the Midwest and East Coast regions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Translate delivery risk into financial, operational, and audit-relevant language; facilitate and lead executive steering committees and governance forums
  • Define, implement, and enforce stage gates, delivery standards, and governance models across engagements

Delivery Enablement
  • Use delivery data and operational metrics (burn, ETC, utilization, risk heatmaps) to drive informed decision-making
  • Develop and enhance delivery methodologies, templates, and best practices to improve consistency and scalability
  • Build executive-ready dashboards and narratives from incomplete or evolving data; present program status, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders

Tools, Data, and Process Optimization
  • Create and maintain project and program toolkits to enable time, budget, and risk management.
  • Lead or support the implementation and optimization of PSA / PPM tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Mavenlink, OpenAir, Adaptive, Planview)
  • Lead detailed resource planning, capacity planning, and portfolio prioritization across competing initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between SDLC, change management, access controls, and governance frameworks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of project management experience at a professional services firm or 10+ years of industry project management experience with 1+ year at a professional services firm
  • Proven experience leading multi-workstream programs
  • Demonstrated ownership of engagement economics, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Experience leading resource management, including capacity planning and portfolio prioritization
  • Experience operating in environments with ambiguity, incomplete requirements, and shifting scope
  • Strong understanding of SDLC frameworks and ability to train and enable teams
  • About 15% of travel to client locations in the U.S.
