Job Description SummaryAs the Senior Project Manager - Technical Services, you will manage emergent customer needs to address technical challenges for operating nuclear power plants. Primary customers for this role are international customers with a heavy focus on Asia. You will work and coordinate with organizational functions, vendors, and customers to scope and execute project deliverables. The ideal candidate has a passion for nuclear energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate and communicate complex requirements effectively and clearly.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities- Act as first line of contact for customers with emergent technical needs. This role primarily supports international customers.
- Manage technical projects from customer inquiry to project closure.
- Provide leadership and project management for assigned projects.
- Ensure project management practices are followed in accordance with business policies and projects are delivered within schedule and cost constraints.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and business policies.
- Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholders.
- Negotiate contract terms and manage change orders as needed to address project scope changes or non-standard events.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Develop specialized knowledge in nuclear energy and stay updated on the latest technical developments in the field.
- Use technical expertise for data analysis to support project decisions and recommendations
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (equivalent experience/education will be considered, such as Senior Reactor Operator with project management experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nuclear power industry (Only candidates with nuclear experience will be considered).
- Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects (with multi-disciplinary team and project).
Eligibility Requirements- Willingness to travel (~20%) domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locations.
- Willingness to respond to emergent customer requests during standard and non-standard working hours.
- The preferred work location for this role is at GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) Headquarters in Wilmington, NC but highly qualified U.S. remote eligible candidates will be considered.
- This role requires access to U.S. export - controlled information, if applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export - controlled information from the U.S. government.

- PMP Certification.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $114,100.00 and $190,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
