Full Job Description
Purpose: The Senior Project Manager will be part of the PMO and is responsible for driving the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage a combination of strong prioritization and communication skills and be highly organized. This role will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met and be able to raise concerns and risks. The Project Manager will work closely with technical and ecommerce teams to deliver enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. . Essential Functions (5-7): Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones, considering all aspects of the project life cycle. Execute project plans, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and address concerns proactively. Work closely with the technical development teams and lead the delivery process by facilitating standups and proactively working to remove all identified impediments and blockers. Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication within the project team, stakeholders, and leadership. Conduct regular status meetings, report on project progress, and address any issues or roadblocks. Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to facilitate efficient project execution, ensuring cross team dependencies, risks and objectives are closely tracked and delivered Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address and resolve issues that may impact project success. Ensure all project documentation is maintained and up-to-date. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (required or preferred): Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in a business-related field or information systems required Licenses / Certifications / Training: Preferred PMP and/or ScrumMaster certifications Years of Related Experience: 5+ years of experience managing projects involving various technologies and project teams. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools Strong knowledge in Jira Strong knowledge in Smartsheet Knowledge in Lucidchart Required Skills & Abilities: Strong critical thinking and analytics experience. Direct knowledge of analytics tools, testing platforms, systems and processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical teams Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
