Job OverviewThe Senior Project Manager - MEP oversees the overall project direction of large, complex and/or multiple projects that have Project Management Teams. They will be instrumental in the assembly of these teams. The Senior Project Manager - MEP is responsible to plan and oversee the project to ensure a timely and cost effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the project. They will oversee a smooth transition from the estimate/pre-construction phase to construction, including design management, if applicable, in order to protect the bid position. They are responsible for ensuring the project/area is constructed in a safe, ethical manner, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Senior Project Manager - MEP Required Qualifications:- 6+ years proven track record of assuring client satisfaction.
- 6+ years track record of delivering on-time MEP projects.
- 6+ managing MEP subcontractor and vendor relationships.
- 6+ years creating and maintaining a culture of safety.
- 6+ years experience developing a culture of quality assurance and control.
- 6+ years' experience managing the installation, coordination, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- 6+ years managing and developing succesful teams.
- Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of MEP systems, applicable codes, industry standards, and construction best practices.
