Due to continued growth of our Water Business in Ontario, we are seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - Integrated Water Management to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Mississauga, Markham or Whitby) or Waterloo. This is an opportunity to lead impactful municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects while helping expand GHD's presence across Ontario through client engagement, project delivery and strategic growth initiatives.

Working with a high-performing team, you will:
  • Lead the delivery of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure planning projects, including environmental assessments, master plans, feasibility studies, capital plans, hydraulic modelling studies, etc.
  • Oversee technical delivery of the above projects for linear systems, pump stations, storage facilities, and treatment plants.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and encourage collaboration.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, risk and quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants and internal teams to successfully deliver projects.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships, support business development efforts, and contribute to proposal development and project capture strategies.


What you will bring to the team
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field would be considered an asset.
    • P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience delivering municipal water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years of experience delivering infrastructure planning projects specifically.
    • Experience successfully managing large, complex infrastructure planning projects involving multiple disciplines and specializations.
    • Strong client relationship, business development and proposal-writing skills.
    • Knowledge of hydraulic / hydrologic modelling, alternatives evaluation, GIS, lifecycle costing, long-term system planning.
    • Familiarity with applicable guidelines, standards, frameworks, regulations, etc.
    • Excellent collaboration, communication, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience with hydraulic modelling and/or detailed design would be considered assets.

The salary range for this position is $98,160-122,170. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At GHD, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location.
