Full Job Description
OVERVIEW

Hendall is seeking an experienced project management professional to support the Project Director of a mission critical data systems project. This position will provide oversight, direct management, and technical support for all aspects of the project. Responsibilities include overall project planning, governance, and management. Duties will focus on project planning, monitoring, and control while also include involvement in tasks of a technical nature, i.e. systems and data related.

DUTIES
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the project work plans
  • Oversee daily operations
  • Oversee and facilitate tasks for staff supporting the project
  • Work with project team and client staff to establish timelines, quality standards, and assess the level of effort and resources required
  • Communicate risks and proposed mitigation strategies to the client
  • Monitor aspects of the budget
  • Provide QA/QC review throughout the lifecycle of the project deliverables, to include documents that are made 508 compliant
  • Work with project technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve data and system issues
  • Participate in client status meetings
  • Participate in Ad Hoc meetings with clients and other contractors
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and other documents required for client meetings
  • Prepare Monthly Progress Reports, including activities performed during each reporting period, planned activities for the next reporting period, and project metrics
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, such as task flow diagrams, task processes (SOPs)
  • Support internal projects and initiatives and perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related IT field of equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing data systems projects in the health and human services fields
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook) and MS Project to create complex project artifacts, manage schedules, and analyze data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to ask effective questions, quickly adapt to change, multi-task, prioritize, and effectively delegate projects
  • Possess strong customer service and client management skills leading to high client satisfaction
  • Experience with Atlassian products Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Experience with system and database design and development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Section 508 compliance a plus

Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000 per year
