Senior Project Manager

In this role, you'll take ownership of large, complex, and high-impact projects, leading teams, managing risk, and delivering results that exceed expectations.

What You'll Do:

Project Leadership & Execution
  • Lead multiple or large, complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Own project outcomes including profitability, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, GMPs, and master schedules
  • Oversee critical path scheduling, phasing, and sequencing strategies
  • Direct subcontractor buyout, scope alignment, and contract execution
  • Ensure field teams have complete and accurate project information to execute successfully
  • Lead project closeout, commissioning, and final delivery

Preconstruction & Strategic Planning
  • Lead design-phase reviews to ensure alignment with scope, budget, constructability, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with owners, architects, and engineers to drive planning and decision-making
  • Support contract negotiation and ensure compliance with all contractual requirements
  • Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions

Financial & Risk Management
  • Provide full financial oversight including forecasting, cost control, and profitability
  • Review and approve pay applications, change orders, and cost-to-complete projections
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and take corrective action
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting across all project financials

Relationship & Team Leadership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and design teams
  • Build strong, lasting relationships that lead to repeat business
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to align field and office execution
  • Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers

Change Management
  • Lead negotiation and execution of subcontractor and owner change orders
  • Ensure scope clarity, pricing accuracy, and proper approvals
  • Enforce contract requirements and maintain accurate project records


What We're Looking For:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8-10+ years of experience managing complex commercial and/or industrial construction projects
  • Proven success delivering projects $15M-$50M+ (or managing multiple projects)
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling, estimating, procurement, and construction systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage risk, solve complex problems, and lead high-performing teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license is required

Preferred:
  • Experience with CMiC, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong technical and financial acumen across all phases of construction


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate active construction sites and office environments
  • Climb stairs or ladders as needed
  • Work in varying weather and site conditions
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
