About the Role

As Senior Project Manager for our DFW division, you'll lead multiple high-value structural steel projects in parallel - from project setup and fabrication scheduling through change orders and closeout - while building the client and vendor relationships that earn repeat work and driving process improvements that strengthen the whole company.

What You'll Own
Multi-Project Leadership: Manage multiple parallel projects using formal project planning techniques - on scope, on time, on budget.
Project Setup & Scheduling: Set up projects in the PE system and establish fabrication schedules and objectives.
Vendors & Subcontractors: Review and assess vendor proposals, coordinate subcontractors, and manage vendor relationships end to end.
Commercial Management: Negotiate change orders and protect each project's financial outcome.
Stakeholder Communication: Report progress on production, financial, quality, and safety goals to internal and external stakeholders; prepare and present project and program information to groups inside and outside the company.
Client Relationships: Establish and maintain customer relationships that turn one project into the next.
Process Improvement: Lead improvements with few precedents and enterprise-wide impact - you'll shape how Patriot delivers.
Resources & Capacity: Identify resource and equipment requirements, drive efficient capacity planning, and manage software and hardware availability.
Safety Integration: Build safety into every plan, schedule, and decision - Safety leads our STEEL values.

What You Bring

Must-haves
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• 10 years of general experience and 5+ years of project management experience in the structural steel industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with MS Office

Nice-to-haves
• Commercial fabrication experience
• Working knowledge of the AISC Manual of Steel Construction and conforming shop and erection drawings
• Knowledge of construction codes and practices
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with FabSuite and Tekla - Tekla Structures, Tekla EPM, and Trimble Connect a plus
