Job DescriptionCDM Smith is hiring in South Carolina! We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Bridge Project Manager to join our Transportation group! CDM Smith has been providing transportation services in South Carolina for over 55 years. This Sr. Bridge Project Manager will help to support our firm's strong position in transportation with the SCDOT and municipal clients in SC and the southern US. In this position, you will manage complex transportation projects for major agencies in South Carolina, with the opportunity to grow our transportation portfolio. You will lead multi-disciplined project teams, manage and deliver complex transportation design projects, develop the scope and budget for new project pursuits, assist with marketing and business development activities, and serve as a leader in our South Carolina Transportation Group.

In this position, you will be:
- Managing and serving as South Carolina Transportation Project Manager on SCDOT statewide bridge design and inspection projects
- Arranging, facilitating and preparing for meetings and coordinating with major clients
- Building new business and managing relationships with key transportation leaders within SCDOT and other major clients including municipalities and contractors for design-build throughout South Carolina
- Managing and assisting with strategic pursuits including proposal development and client meetings
- Preparing and managing design and construction contract specifications for transportation projects
- Being involved with budget, scope and schedule development, monitoring and adherence for tasks and projects managed
- Implementing quality procedures at project and task levels
- Mentoring staff and helping to expand our bridge practice in South Carolina
- Being active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members

Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree.
- 10 years of related experience.
- PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Pay Range MinUSD $120,973.00
Pay Range MaxUSD $211,723.00
Additional Pay Range InformationCDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for the geographic location assigned to the position. In addition to geographic location, a candidate's salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.
Additional CompensationAll bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
