Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a
Senior ProjectManagement Specialist to join the
Apache Production & Fielding Program Management Office team in
Mesa, AZ. This requisition is to fill a position on the Apache Program directly supporting the execution of the Multi-Year I and Multi-Year II production programs.
The position will focus on Supply Chain Recovery and Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) to ensure stable execution of Apache production. It will also focus on leading program change management, directed change proposal development and negotiation, supply chain negotiation strategy and execution, and major program non-recurring effort projects in a cross-functional environment.
Position Responsibilities:- Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
- Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives
- Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements
- Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
- Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans
- Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management
- Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
- Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans
- Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects
- 5+ years of experience in production processes and flow
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Experience supporting defense acquisition and proposal development
- Experience building positive relationships and effectively engaging customers
