What does a Sr. Project Leader do at Rinnai?

This role is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional programs that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. It operates at the intersection of engineering, product, and business execution, translating ideas into scalable solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. The position requires strong program leadership, technical depth, and business acumen to manage multi-project initiatives, influence stakeholders, and support enterprise priorities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-project programs across engineering, product, and operations
  • Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics aligned with business goals
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and trade-offs to ensure predictable outcomes
  • Develop and evaluate transformational initiatives from concept through pilot and implementation
  • Build business cases, including financial modeling, ROI analysis, and measurable success criteria
  • Partner with engineering and technical teams to align execution with strategic objectives
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable business decisions
  • Support portfolio prioritization, resource planning, and program governance processes
  • Establish KPIs, track performance, and provide regular program reporting to leadership
  • Prepare and present data-driven insights, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts across innovation, product development, and PMO processes
  • Identify systemic issues and implement scalable solutions to improve execution effectiveness

Job Requirements:

Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Software, or related field) required
