This Opportunity

Be involved in projects with our Florida, Program and Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Project Engineer in Central Florida. This role can sit out of the Altamonte Springs, Orlando, Lakeland, or Tampa office.

This individual will support high-profile and alternative delivery transportation-market projects throughout Central Florida. This will require a seasoned leader capable of managing a large CEI team and complex transportation projects.

Your Impact
  • Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team
  • Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
  • Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
  • Review programs for conformance with Client standards
  • Identify and pursue future opportunities
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs


Who You Are

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer
  • 12 years of Engineering experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies


Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months)
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager (Pass Exam)
  • FDOT Advanced MOT #LI-JR1
