The Hardware Test Operations team at Anduril plays a crucial role in our mission, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. Our team conducts full system level development testing, new production acceptance testing, software qualification testing and much more.
This position is looking for a highly motivated Project Engineer with emphasis in testing of software/hardware interfaces, networking, and diagnostics. WHAT YOU'LL DO- As a Project Engineer, under minimal supervision, you will be lead test planning, logistics, and issue management, ensuring we are tracking our testing with accurate reporting, and closing out critical issues before releasing to the field
- Define the test process to streamline workflows.
- Support test process execution end-to-end (Requirements, Test Planning, Safety/Compliance Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Test Execution, Test Reporting)
- Liaise with the Business Line capability leads, creating and updating the TE validation schedule across their programs
- Manage software and integration test cases and plans of counter-UAS and counter-intrusion systems
- Dive deep technically into the full Family of Systems in Anduril's Air Defense portfolio
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test data, identify system behaviors, and drive product enhancements, process improvements
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in test engineering.
- Thorough understanding of engineering principles, especially in test engineering and test management.
- Quick learner with the capacity to accurately implement new concepts and effectively manage multiple project phases.
- Proven experience in designing and executing rigorous testing protocols.
- Skillful in data analysis and comfortable in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Availability to travel for testing-related activities on an as needed basis.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
- Ability to immediately obtain a U.S. Secret-Level security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Direct experience with UAS design or operational deployment.
- Advanced knowledge of UAV testing methodologies and data analysis.
- Familiarity with test/requirements software such as TestRail, Jama, Siemens PLM, etc
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, etc
US Salary Range
$146,000-$194,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
