Position Title: SeniorProject Engineer

Build more than concrete-build projects that leave a lasting impact. Are you a proactive construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing complex projects to life? We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality structural concrete projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. From managing RFIs and submittals to tracking project costs, coordinating material procurement, and supporting field operations, you'll be an essential part of every project's success.

Salary: $90,000- $120,000 / Year, DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Prepare, review, and submit project submittals and required documentation.
  • Generate, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Identify, document, price, and submit change order requests.
  • Track contract changes and ensure proper project documentation.
  • Coordinate weekly production planning and monitor project budgets and costs.
  • Review subcontractor billings and assist with vendor payment approvals.
  • Partner with superintendents and field teams to procure project materials and verify quantities and contract requirements.
  • Document project progress through site photographs and project records.
  • Maintain inspection, testing, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop and update accurate as-built drawings throughout project execution.
  • Track punch list items and closeout requirements to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of commercial construction experience.
  • Experience with cast-in-place concrete construction strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of contract document management and construction administration.
