About the Role:

As a Senior Project Controls Manager, you will oversee multiple multi-disciplined commercial real estate solutions for large and high-profile clients.

This job is part of the Building Consultancy function. They are responsible for specialist building services including surveying, inspections, and planning.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage all facets of cost management for multiple real estate projects.
  • Assess complex project scopes and client needs to develop and present recommended budgets for necessary pre-bid and pre-construction cost estimating and cost planning services.
  • Partner with large project teams to source and oversee the pre-bid and pre-construction services associated with the development of a project budget and cost plan.
  • Work with the client and Sr. Project Managers to ensure all work is funded in compliance with the client's internal policies.
  • Ensure all contracts include required language aligned with lease requirements for the solicitation of all landlord contributions.
  • Review and report all bid responses to the client. Include recommendations for items such as high-value allowances, contingencies, and reserves.
  • Align cost plan with project master schedule. Establish a strategy to manage cash flows and project accruals and report progress.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience with Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical facilities is preferred.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $135,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
