Full Job Description
Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager and Client Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have 15 plus years' experience in the planning, design, development, and construction phases of a variety of project types. The person in this position will work closely with the directors, managers, and engineering staff to ensure that our client's needs and expectations are exceeded.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Project and Client management of multi-discipline projects within the Florida, Great Lakes Facility, and Structural Divisions
  • Prepare proposals and administer project contracts, including Add Service Agreements.
  • Work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the work plan.
  • Supervise staff and where applicable self-Perform the following:
    • Design of new building structures as well as alterations, renovations, and additions to existing buildings.
    • Complete monthly financial performance metrics of projects managed including hours to complete requirements.
    • Manage the preparation of design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents.
    • Facilitate the coordination of the Architectural and Engineering drawings and attend coordination meetings.
    • Manage client expectations, project deliverables and project deadlines in conjunctions with the project team.
  • Manage the QAQC process and conformance with the Osborn Quality control program.
  • Attend meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals as projects require.
  • Conduct business development activities, participating in various trade organizations, and preparing or assisting with presentations.
  • Work with Division Leadership and the corporate Business Development team to successfully build, develop, and manage clients.


Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 15 plus years of Project Management in Consulting Engineering.
  • Ability to work and manage several project teams concurrently.
  • Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices.
  • Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.
  • Experience in designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects.
  • Self-starter, motivated to assist towards successful Business Development and Client Management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Preferred.
  • PE License Preferred.

Posted salary ranges reflect market-based averages for the role. Final compensation will be determined based on each candidate's experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.

Salary Range: $127,000 - $157,000
