This position willlead a variety oflarge projects or programsto apply program management principles and tools to ensure Diagnostic Lab of Michigan isefficientand effective inthe delivery of its services, solutions, and processeswhile improving customerand employeesatisfaction.This position will also be responsible for coaching others to learn and apply program management principles and tools to their daily work.

In addition, this position may lead a team of project management specialists through a portfolio of medium projects while coaching others in the organization to learn and apply principles and tools to their daily work.

• Coaches other employees onthe use of various tools, concepts and practices foundational to QMSinorderfor Quest Diagnostics employeesto build self-sufficiency, sustainability andscalability
• Active effort toward obtaining a PMP certification administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) required
• Participates in Communities of Practice
• Leads QMS trainingclasses
• Documentsbusiness processes
• Completes required continuedlearning

Required WorkExperience:

Demonstrated experience leading large or complex projects with multiple workstreams from initiation to completion(7-10years experience)

Licenses and Certifications

• Formal training in project management or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, Lean, Theory of Constraints) (Preferred)
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) (Required)
• QMS Diamond Level Core Practitioner Training (internally provided - completed within 18 months of entering into the role) (Required)
