If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, then keep reading because Leidos is seeking a senior program manager to lead the full-lifecycle software development and delivery of a portfolio of analytical and geospatial mission systems. Our customer provides military intelligence to warfighters, defense policymakers, and force planners across the Department of War and the Intelligence Community.

The position is responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of program goals and objectives. Duties will include ensuring that all capabilities are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Communication – technical, people, and business acumen in software development and delivery are essential as this role acts as the autonomous, primary interface to the government customer – managing communication and program deliverables
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) – leads and collaborates with multi-disciplined team with courage and conviction that Influences development of solutions that impact strategic and tactical results.
• Project Management Expertise – actively resource Program Increment Planning (PIPe), balance cost-schedule-feature/fix constraints with effective risk and opportunity management discipline.
• Inspirational – model ‘…. We could be even better if… ‘ with high sense of urgency.
• Inspirational Leadership – Inspires continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and driving higher performance with urgency.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 + years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 + years of prior relevant experience in program and project management and/or software development lifecycle; Or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Must currently possess an active TS/SCI, with ability to obtain a Polygraph post hire
• Ability to manage complexity and priorities with many systems (dozens) aligned to customer/mission needs.
• Demonstrable written and verbal communications skills spanning all levels of an organization.
• Experience managing large, multi-disciplined team of professionals that are distributed across timezones, working on unclassified and classified domains/delivery systems of systems.
• Experience supporting business development and on-contract growth activities including responding to RFIs, RFPs, BOEs, and other customer acquisition requests.
Preferred Qualifications:
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Experience with classified mission critical system development and delivery for department of war and/or intelligence community.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
